Sources Page
Provides tools for analyzing the information flow and synthesis of knowledge in relation to the category of the same name and allows (through page widgets: “Archive”, “Tonality Indicator”, “List”, as well as subsections: “Source Characteristic”, "Analysis of zone sources", "Constructive propaganda", "Destructive propaganda", "Conclusions") to implement:
- monitoring and evaluation of sources (mass media) forming a representative information stream (field), identification of significance (obvious “favorites”), directions of their activity and degree of influence on public opinion (subsection “All sources”);
- identifying internal and external sources of information security threats (subsections of the "Constructive/Destructive propaganda" in conjunction with ranking of sources according to the degree of PR influence);
- characteristics of the work of both a single source (its name is a link to the subsection “Source characteristics”), and their entire list (subsections “Analysis of zone sources”, “Conclusions”) retrospectively for the selected period of time.
Subsection "All sources"
This subsection provides a list of news sources (rating media, analytical news agencies, industry information resources) that are “monitored” permanently.
Each source receives the current daily rating "tonality indicator" (the indicator to the right of the source’s name, when clicked on which detailed information is displayed in a pop-up window) based on an automated assessment of the corpus (set) of materials (messages) published by it.
The ranking of sources in the list is carried out in the order of increasing the integral indicator of the presence of PR influence (in percentage terms from a linguistic point of view, it shows the degree of similarity of materials to “texts of direct influence”, i.e. saturation of emotional and manipulative content). p >
The sources ordered in this way are divided into 3 zones (for more details see the “Color Interpretation” section on the Home page).
"Archive" widget
Present on all functional pages ("Sources", "Topics of the day", "Headings", "Topics"). It is a tool for access and updating the date of retrospective information for the purpose of analysis. Visually, this is a monthly calendar, with the ability to switch to the day/month/year of interest (retrospective depth - 2012). When you open the page, the current (selected) is considered the current date. Through a monthly transition (arrows to the left/right of the name of the month), you can select and, accordingly, update an arbitrary date to implement the functions of the current page.
"Tonality" Indicator Widget
Gives a detailed linguistic-statistical assessment (degree of "toxicity") of a single element of the analysis ("Message", "Source", "Theme of the day"). It is displayed in the form of an indicator itself (
color indication of all primary and integral indicators), when clicked, a full decryption of each estimate and its percentage value are opened.
Widget "List"
Reflects the generality of the minimum elements of information ("Message") or analysis ("Source", "Theme of the day") in accordance with the principles of grouping determined by the functional purpose of the page. These include lists:
- "source messages" in order from new to old - the supply of primary information in raw form;
- of “sources ranked” in order of increasing “toxicity” (PR-influence coefficient) grouped by zones (“green” - minimum PR-influence, “gray”, “red” - maximum PR-influence), in detail in the section “ Color Interpretation ”on the Home Page;
